The PleaseRock Music Collective is Atlanta’s finest and most popular group of musicians.  Their versatility is unparalleled, their shows are packed with fans and surprises, and their on-stage humor instantly endears them to audiences.

Their list of aliases is long and distinguished – Yacht Rock Revue, Please PleaseRock Me (Beatles), U2’s greatest hits, Rock Fight (Led Zeppelin vs. the Who, Fleetwood Mac vs. Tom Petty) and full performances of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Prince’s Purple Rain and Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon albums.

Their last two trips to New York, they sold out a Rocks Off Concert Cruise and a Saturday night at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn.  We want to remind you that next month, the PleaseRock collective will be performing TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOWS.

This spot-on tribute to all things Beatles spans the careers of the Fab Four from the early Liverpool days to their solo careers by Atlanta’s reigning tribute kings: the PleaseRock Music Collective.  In their New York debut, the band will open with the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album in its entirety.  This 8-man, horn section-ed, toy instrument-incorporated show has packed thousand-seat theaters in Atlanta.

PleaseRock tributes are unique in that instead of trying to exactly impersonate the source material, they take the spirit of the original and add energy by playing the songs as if they were their own.  “We don’t try to get every hair flip exactly right, and we don’t get plastic surgery to look like Ringo.  We tackle the music as if we wrote it, and balance our awe of the Beatles’ greatness with an irreverent edge.  That’s what John would have wanted, right?” said singer and guitarist Nicholas Niespodziani.

In the 1970s, rock music mellowed out and the smooth sounds of soft rock also known as Yacht Rock – were born. And now for the first time ever, all of the biggest and best soft rock hits are together on one stage in the form of the Yacht Rock Revue.  In the last year, Atlanta’s YRR has set sail on Caribbean cruise ships with the likes of Kid Rock and the Zac Brown Band, as well as a two home-town performances at Turner Field in Atlanta.  More recently, the band just returned from the inaugural WEEZER CRUISE along with Weezer (obv), Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh, The Antlers, Wavves… and many more.

Come out and hear all of your favorites by Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, and more!
